We used a combination of rebates to offer the cheapest possible upgrades. 

We also work directly with the manufacturer of the system, which is why we’re able to include all extras and guarantee no extra charge. Not a cent over guaranteed! 

The federal rebate creates Small-Scale Technology Certificates. 

In NSW there is the Energy Saving Scheme which creates Energy Saving Certificates. 

We combine State + Federal incentives to completely pay for your heat pump water system – which are usually priced around $4000-$5000. 

NSW: If your system is electric, outdoors and you are based in Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle, Wollongong or Port Macquarie then you qualify. 

VICTORIA: You must be located within 100km of Melbourne CBD for us to be able to upgrade your system.

A heat pump is a more efficient way of heating your hot water. It uses a compressor to heat pump hot water, a bit like an reverse cycle air con but for your water!

Split systems and single unit systems work in very much the same way, but in a split system the compressor is seperate to the hot water tank. 

This allows the fan to have a greater surface area, and thus be more efficient in a split system than it is for a single unit. 

Yes, even swapping from off-peak you stand to get massive savings. As these systems are 5x more efficient (this is what the COP of the unit refers to) than regular electric water heaters and off-peak is half the price of “on-peak” , you will still be spending 2.5x less on your energy bill.

Yes, but relocations cost money. 

We charge $420 per 4 metres of piping + wiring that the system needs to be relocated.

If your existing system is on a suitable surface we may not bring a slab unless you explicitly request one. 

Yes, to qualify for the rebate we are legally required to decomission (drill a hole through) your old tank. We’ll recycle and pick it up for you, free of charge!

Yes, all of our contractors are fully licensed and insured tradesmen who are accredited under the NSW ESS scheme, Victorian Energy Upgrades Program and the federal STC scheme.
